1) Good with kids:- This type of dogs are very friendly with kids, even they can provide care and attention to our kids in the absence of their parents .                                       
Some examples are :  Labrador retriever,Golden retriever,Charles spaniel,Cocker spaniel,Afghan hound  etc

2)Watch dogs:- As the name indicate these are good for security purpose.They are furious hunting dogs. Eg: Dachs hound,German shepherd dog, Rottweiler, Fox terrier, cocker spaniel ,Lahso apso etc 

Chihuahua

3)small dogs:-Chihuahua,Japanese chin ,Maltese,Miniature pinscher, Basenji. etc

4)Guard dog:-GSD,Chow chow, Doberman pinscher, mastiff, Neapolitan mastiff, Russian terrier,Puli, 

Bullmstiff
